Gary Neville: Manchester United are a farce | Would Erik ten Hag really still want job?

Would Erik ten Hag really still want job?

Gary Neville is concerned that Erik Ten Hag might not want the Manchester United job due to the difficulties inside the club as well as their current run of poor form.

In an interview with Gary Neville on the Gary Neville Podcast: "As soon as feasible, Manchester United need to finish the season off well. The truth is that they would have been in the top four if they had performed better than they did against Leicester and Everton last week, but they lack the will or the energy to do so."
After another disappointing Premier League weekend that showed how much work awaits Manchester United's next manager, Gary Neville thinks he has "very little things left to say about Manchester United."

It is Ralf Rangnick's opinion that Manchester United are not deserving of the Champions League places if they continue to perform at the way they did against Everton.

A lackluster offensive showing against an Everton team that lost 3-2 to relegation rivals Burnley in midweek leaves Manchester United's hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League dwindling.

Gary Neville, a former Manchester United full-back, expressed his displeasure with the team's performance at Goodison Park on the Gary Neville Podcast.
For Manchester United, I have just a few more words. I'm no longer angry or critical. When it comes to them, it's almost as if it's expected. Ralf Rangnick is going down with the team. They're terrible.
They need to finish the season as swiftly as they can in order to avoid missing out on playoff contention. The truth is that they would have been in the top four if they had performed better than they did against Leicester and Everton last week, but they lack the will or the passion to do it.

Cristiano Ronaldo was anonymous at Everton

There are no inflated egos among Manchester City and Liverpool's footballers; instead, they understand their roles and treat the team as their first priority. Why would you have an inflated ego, believe you don't have to work hard, or be spiritless? There isn't a single Manchester United player who would get into either of those two teams. There's nothing there anymore.

According to the Sunday newspaper, Erik ten Hag wants all of his demands to be realized or he won't play for the club. Ten Hag may not be able to go through due of the current situation, and the status of the club.

Donny van de Beek worked under Ten Hag at Ajax

It's hard to find any Manchester United players who have grown as a result of the club's training methods. There is no doubt about what they did to Donny van de Beek. Ten Hag, I believe you're now speaking with Van de Beek. Donny, how's it going for you over there? Is he saying anything constructive at the moment?

While I doubt Ten Hag's demands would include money, I do believe they will center on power, organization and young recruiting. So I'm guessing he's coming in to make sure he doesn't get exposed to what previous managers have had to deal with over the last ten years before coming in.
For Manchester United, that could be too much, and I think it will be a difficult few weeks or so for the club. However, this morning's rumors indicated that Ten Hag was imposing demands on the club that may go above and beyond what the club can reasonably expect. We shouldn't take everything at face value, but if it comes from a reliable source, we're usually aware of it.

Contrary to popular belief, journalists get their information from a variety of sources, and if there are numerous people expressing the same thing, there's probably substance to it.

The Mauricio Pochettino saga has gone silent, so it feels like all the eggs are now in the Ten Hag basket. Because of his demands on the way the club is operated, Manchester United is in a precarious situation.

I believe Ralf Rangnick will be open and honest with Ten Hag, and I believe Van de Beek will do the same. We know Edwin van der Sar is in Ajax and will be open with Ten Hag. They'll tell you to be wary about visiting Manchester United at this time because it's a graveyard for reputations.
After arriving at the club with a wonderful reputation, Ralf Rangnick is now starting to be wounded by what is occurring around him and is more subject to attack from players on the pitch, who have nothing to do with him.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a decent man who was well-liked by his players, yet they sacked him despite their admiration. At this point, the club's situation is quite precarious.

I'm in the same boat as the majority of Manchester United supporters in that I have no idea what's going to happen next.

There is a strong belief in my heart that the club will return someday. This is a low point for the club, but it will rise again. But it will return, and you're eagerly awaiting it.

Those Liverpool supporters standing behind me have been where I am now, when Manchester United was losing and they didn't have a team they could be proud of, they have been where I am now. Manchester United's players might want to take a closer look at themselves.
