Religion- A Small Scale Industry

Religion is defined as the different facets of man's relationship with God. But one thing is certain: God is always the initiate in this connection. God is man's creator, with whom he shares a unique conscious relationship known as religion. Man is called to this form of interaction by God.

Religion is established by the dynamics of God's call and man's reaction. Man is not the one who seeks God or initiates the search. That is to say, religion was founded by God. This article examines the veracity of many men's assertions in religious topics nowadays and proves that true religion has lost its passion.

It is extremely simple nowadays. It is also dangerous for ordinary mortals to initiate religion, and it is also inconsistent to think of religion as beginning with man's nature and leading to God. Such religions are unable to transcend human mortality and vulgarity (John 3:6). Because man cannot save himself, it is inherently deficient and lacking. God saw it as necessary, in His infinite wisdom, for His Son, who is God, to come and wash away man's sins with His blood when man was defenseless. A religion that is born of  a man-to-God relationship - has no power to transform or save him. A man should not have called on God if he knew what would be done to save himself. It's like having a man-to-God relationship.

God has reserved the field of religion for himself. Consider the relationship between God and the Israelites, as well as the Jewish religion, which served as a precursor to Christianity. In contrast to the worship of the many gods of the day, God intervened through Abram's request (Gen. 12:1-3).

The planet was a "formless emptiness" before creation, according to biblical scripture (Gen. 1:2). While it is true that God gave the planet a format creation, we may accurately argue that it is with the beginnings of religion, namely with Abraham's call, through whom all nations will be called, that we can say that it is with the beginnings of religion. The world realized its vision and direction thanks to a relationship with God. God dictated the facts of this new relationship from Abraham to Isaac, Jacob to Moses, and the Israelites. The order and intricacies of God's connection with the Old Testament people were both initiated and spelled out by Him. God sent His Son at the end of time to establish the new Covenant, which the old Covenant only hinted at.

Christ perpetuated this old relationship in numerous ways, but in a new way. He condensed the 10 ancient rules into one - the Law of Love. In the beatitudes (Mt. 5:3-11), He expounds on the intricacies of this New Law, lives it out through His passion and death on the cross, and vindicates it.
