And now we have news that Conor Hourihane has been signed by Derby after being released by Aston Villa earlier this month.

The two-year contract with Pride Park was signed by the Republic of Ireland international.

The Rams stated that they were "able to beat off considerable competition to secure his services" as the signing was made public on the club's official website.

Hourihane spent the previous season on loan with Sheffield United, making 31 appearances across all competitions.

A secure Kasumu signature from Huddersfield
David Kasumu, a central midfielder, has been acquired by Huddersfield from MK Dons for an unknown price.

The 22-year-old has signed a three-year contract at the John Smith's Stadium with a one-year option to extend.
