23 LGAs Battling Insecurity In Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi

As a result of kidnappers, livestock rustlers, and bandits, residents in at least 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Sokoto, Zamfara, and Kebbi States are struggling to stay alive. These residents live in areas that are located in the states of Sokoto, Zamfara, and Kebbi.

The residents of the affected regions have either been forced to migrate, entered into a deal with the criminals, or live a life of uncertainty, according to a check conducted by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

According to locals in Sokoto State, the local government areas of Isa, Sabon Birni, Gwadabawa, Illela, Tangaza, and Goronyo are the ones that have been hit the most.

According to information obtained by NAN, people of the afflicted local government areas were compelled to evacuate their farms, and some villages were completely deserted.

According to Malam Abubakar Bawa, who serves as the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ahmed Aliyu, the state government is aware of the gravity of the issue.

"We are making the maintenance of a secure environment a top priority. On our administration's nine-point agenda, addressing the problems posed by security has remained in the top spot.

He stated that the goal of the government is to "ensure that citizens sleep with their two eyes closed and continue to live and relate to one another peacefully."

He gave the assurance that ongoing attempts to secure the areas were being made by the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Police, and other security authorities.
