This occurred as young people in Enugu took to the streets yesterday in support of the IPOB leader's command to Ekpa to put a stop to illegal  sit-at-home that has caused a lot of damage to people's lives and businesses in the region. You may recall that on Friday, the memo was presented and read aloud during a press briefing held in Enugu by Aloy Ejimakor, who serves as Kanu's Special Counsel. Ekpa brushed aside the memo as "fake" as soon as it was made available to the public, claiming that it was a hoax that had been hatched by the Department of State Services (DSS) and other government agencies. He had even gone farther, calling into question the logic that supported it. However, in a statement that was sent to The Guardian in Enugu by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the organization distanced itself and Kanu from "the senseless enforcement of sit-at-home," highlighting the fact that it decided to make the information public in order to avert repercussions for innocent persons. According to the statement that was released by the IPOB and signed by Emma Powerful, the Media and Publicity Secretary, it was stated that Kanu, in his wisdom, "communicated the message to the infiltrators through the right channel and a source they should trust." Heb continued by saying, "The claim that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's handwritten note is fake is part of their mischief to continue in their contract to blackmail IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with the violent enforcement of the notorious sit-at- home used tp terrorize our people.  This is part of their contract." We are aware that a power hungry criminal minister, accompanied by his insignificant kangaroo de facto   government in exile, will disobey the order out of concern that it will cause his already inflated ego to become even larger.
