“It takes time” – Pundit responds to comments made by Man Utd legend about Ten Hag.

Commentator Ray Parlour has addressed the recent criticism leveled at former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag by club veteran Dwight Yorke.

As reported by TalkSport, the former Red Devils forward believes the Dutchman's debut season has "not been good enough" in terms of results.

In response to Yorke's comments on TalkSport, Parlour defended Ten Hag and lauded his performance at Old Trafford.

He asked, "Doesn't it take time? To reconstruct, to attempt once more, to confront. When the summer transfer market finally opens, it will be fascinating to see which players end up where.

They need a striker desperately, thus I expect them to pay a high price to get one. That's probably not something I'd agree with. He brought home a trophy, though it isn't quite the one he wanted.

"Making the playoffs is absolutely crucial for Manchester United," I said.

Ten Hag's time at the club has not been without its share of difficulties. One such instance is their loss to West Ham United last Sunday.

Nonetheless, he is serving in his inaugural season. You Red Devils may be truly titanic when you're on fire.

The 53-year-old man has already demonstrated courage in his actions. Things like starting Luke Shaw at center back instead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Man Utd manager was likely correct in both cases despite widespread criticism at the time of their introduction.
