‘Ronaldo will return to Europe’ - Al-Nassr boss Garcia makes transfer prediction about ex-Man Utd star

The former Manchester United footballer was a Portuguese national who elected to become a free agent.
The manager of Al-Nassr, Rudi Garcia, has said publicly that Cristiano Ronaldo "will return to Europe at some stage" and would not end his spectacular career in Saudi Arabia.
A potentially lucrative deal has been negotiated in the Middle East.
Anticipated one last test of his mettle
Okay, so what exactly transpired? He became a free agent when Manchester United released him in November 2022, and the Portuguese superstar eventually settled there. Several clubs in England and the United States had shown interest in Ronaldo at the time, but he chose to play in the United States instead, accepting the largest contract in sports history. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner signed a two-year pact that will take him up to his 40th birthday, but Garcia feels he still has at least one more challenge in him.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition as he helps to disperse defenses," the French coach who is presently working with the renowned player in Riyadh was reported as saying. Among the best players in the world, he is a serious contender. He's leaving Al-Nassr before the conclusion of his contract and moving back to Europe.

Ronaldo has failed to score in his first two competitive games for Al-Nassr, despite scoring for a Saudi Pro League select XI in an exhibition match against PSG and his eternal opponent Lionel Messi.

So what happens next? There has been widespread speculation that Ronaldo may join his former Manchester United colleague and current Major League Soccer (MLS) superstar David Beckham at Inter Miami. However, Ronaldo may have one more European adventure in him before he makes the move.
