The actor who portrayed Finn Cotter on the hit family drama series Heartland, Robert Cormier, has passed away. He was 33.
The actor died on Friday, as reported by his obituary. The obituary does not specify how Cormier passed away, but his sister Stephanie informed The Hollywood Reporter that he was taken to a hospital in Etobicoke, Ontario, after suffering injuries in a fall.
Athlete, performer, and "wonderful brother," that's how Comier was described in his obituary.
"He loved being of service to others and was constantly pushing himself to improve. Movie evenings were a family tradition, and he had a lot of respect for his dad "a death notice stated. Whether it was his family, his teammates, or his friends, he had a profound effect on many individuals throughout his life.
"Rob's memory will live on via his passion for art and movies; as well as his three sisters who meant the world to him," reads the rest of the obituary.
The network captioned a photo of the actor with co-star Amber Mitchell, writing, "Robert Cormier, aka Heartland's Finn, was an outstanding talent, gone too soon."

Even the show's official Instagram page paid tribute to Comier online.

In Heartland's 15th season, Comier played Amy's new love interest (Mitchell). The 16th season, which premieres on October 2, is rumored to include him.

Comier portrayed the role of Kit Jenning in the Netflix series Slasher before he was cast in Heartland. According to IMDb, he also had cameos on the TV shows Designated Survivor, Ransom, and American Gods.
Films like Firecrackers and Pyrenees were directed by him, and he also has Transmission: Vol. 1 and a short film titled The Antagoni set to release soon.
