Amanda was super excited and felt on cloud nine , Mr Agu kept talking her to different serminars and court cases  and introduced her to different personalities and all were ready to accept her in their Law firm and this was the opportunity she needed , she knew that things won't be too difficult for her after graduation , the court proceedings were fun for her and she learnt a lot from it . Mr Agu even invited her to dinner meetings with top notch lawyers and she was awed by the kind of connections he had. She also received compliments from the lawyers as they were also amazed by her level of intelligence .

" Where did you get this gem of a girl " said Barrister Amos on one of their dinner meetings , Mr Agu smiled and placed a hand on Amanda's thight causing Amanda to nearly choke on her wine and  Mr Agu quickly rubbed her back increasing Amanda's discomfort but nor of this passed the prying eyes of Barrister Amos and he gave out an ambiguous smile .

Although things were going well for her in her acedemics it can't be said so in her relationship with Tony for they barely hang out and she kept postponing their date and this resulted to them always having an argument . It started affecting her that she couldn't concentrate while on a dinner meeting with Mr Agu and his friends and this came to Mr Agu's notice so he spoke to her while he was driving her home . " You look down today , you weren't your usual self what's wrong ? Is it relationship issues ? " And this resulted in Amanda giving him a sharp look " Aha I guess am right , well I don't think you need a boy in your life now , just focus on your studies now for you have a bright future ahead of you and little boys like that will only lure you away from your goal " he said whilst driving , seeing as he was almost close to her hostel he said perchance you want to date I would advise you go for a man, someone advance " still Amanda said nothing and just gave him a faint smile . As he pulled over at her hostel he grabbed her hand gazing at her intensely remember what I just said , his actions made her uncomfortable a lot so she forceful pulled her hand away from his grip and left .
