West Ham United midfielder and captain Declan Rice has been linked to a move to Arsenal and Manchester City.

According to an exclusive piece by Fabrizio Romano for CaughtOffside, the next few days might be decisive in the Arsenal's pursuit of Rice, as they prepare to make a third offer for the English international.

It does not appear like City has made an offer for Rice just yet, but according to Romano, that might change. The specialist on player transfers said that Mikel Arteta has been instrumental in Arsenal's pursuit of the 24-year-old.

Arsenal want to submit a third offer for the West Ham United captain this week, and Romano says that they have heard a lot about an official bid from Manchester City for Declan Rice, which might yet materialize.
