Liverpool have failed to win in their last two trips to the King Power, but Jurgen Klopp's motivated players aren't concerned with the past as they want to extend their late-season run with a seventh straight Premier League victory.

Never thought a trip to face Brentford, even a struggling Brentford, would be a cakewalk for the Reds, but Mohamed Salah's close-range volley gave them the win (his 19th Premier League goal of the season and 100th at Anfield in all competitions).

Manchester United's win over Wolverhampton Wanderers moved the Red Devils four points ahead of Liverpool in the Premier League standings after both teams had played the same amount of games.

Although the visitors' recent success deserves praise, each of their five victories has come by just one goal since their 6-1 demolition job of Leeds; no team since Everton in 2002 has won six straight games by a one-goal margin. Nevertheless, Liverpool would take an ugly victory over a goal-laden draw or defeat at this point in the season.

As previously mentioned, Leicester has beaten Liverpool 3-1 and 1-0 on the road in the last two seasons. However, in December 2022, Liverpool got their revenge with a 2-1 win at Anfield thanks to an unorthodox performance from Wout Faes, who scored a pair of own goals in honor of a visiting Jamie Carragher.
