'I must serve as Nigeria's President,' Peter Obi declares.

Mr. Peter Obi, the past governor of Anambra State and the presidential nominee of the Labour Party in the last election, continues to maintain on becoming President of Nigeria.

Obi, who is in suit with the declared winner of the just ended election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has stated that he is certain in his mind that he is going to become President.

The candidate for the Labour Party stated at the unveiling of an article created in his honor called 'Peter Obi: Many Voices, One Perspective' in Awka, Anambra State.

"Anybody who believes I'm in motion is simply wasting his time," Obi stated. I'd like to say  something: I should be the president of this nation. I'm certain of it. If not now, then it must be someday.

"Others who wish to be can come out and tell us what they intend to do as well as how they plan to do it." I don't hold dual nationality because this is my nation. Any person who believes I intend to flee Nigeria is delusory.

"I have three appointments today in Anambra as well as Lagos." Tonight, I'll be talking in Lagos. We are not leaving Nigeria. I'm not looking forward to being president, but I'm sure it has to occur.

"I was in court in Anambra for three years to regain my governorship, just to contest the entire process." Several individuals attempted to dissuade me, however I told them that even if it takes the whole four years of my term to establish a point and fix what was wrong, I would be satisfied.

"My point is, let us do what is appropriate. I usually tell individuals that I won't give them cash to do something bad. I was the person in charge of the TETFUND committee, and Prof Mahmood was a member. We know each other, but I've never seen him since he was elected INEC chairman. I urged him, "You're an arbitrator; just do the right thing."

"If you're given the opportunity to do the appropriate thing and refuse to do so, chaos will engulf everyone one day." I am adamant that we do the proper thing.

"I was at a World Food Organization function yesterday in Abuja." I heard a news that said Nigeria will experience extreme starvation in the next years.

"It is Nigeria, not Peter Obi, who is going to suffer starvation." According to the research, Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe State will be hardest hit, although those three states jointly have almost five times the land mass of Israel, yet Egypt exports grain while the nation of Nigeria is unable to feed itself.

"As a result, we have to develop a lifestyle of doing the appropriate thing." It is going to devour us someday if we do not do the correct thing."

"So we intend to help him get started because litigation is a very capital intensive process." "It is obvious that Obi won the election, nevertheless, we are calling on the judiciary to be fair as well as do the appropriate thing," she remarked.
