Manchester United approved £70million Harry Kane replacement.

According to reports, Manchester United is considering signing Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez instead of Tottenham Hotspur's star striker Harry Kane.

Manchester United approved £70million Harry Kane replacement: Martinez looks like he may be the ideal option to come in and serve as a long-term successor for Cristiano Ronaldo. This summer, the Red Devils have an urgent need to improve up front, and Martinez looks like he could be the right option to do so.

According to Football Insider, the Argentine international could possibly be available for a comparatively low price of just £70 million this summer due to Inter's need to earn money from player sales due to financial concerns. This is because Inter needs to raise money from player sales in order to address their financial issues.

Martinez has been very successful in Serie A, and it would be interesting to see him play in the Premier League. However, some Man United supporters may choose the more tried and true option of Kane.

The issue, on the other hand, will be in bargaining with Spurs, who will undoubtedly do everything in their ability to avoid losing their star player to a rival team.

In the event that Kane is unable to play for United, the club could do a lot worse than sign Martinez for under £70 million, which appears to be a reasonable price given the current market conditions.

The 25-year-old forward has played 228 matches for Inter and has scored a total of 95 goals for the club. He led Inter to the Italian championship in 2020/21.
