Chelsea is in negotiations to outbid Arsenal for a potential £60 million transfer

Ramus Hojlund, a striker for Atalanta, has reportedly drawn increased interest from Chelsea, who have recently held transfer discussions with the club.

The promising young Dane has been making waves on the international stage, and this summer could see a fierce battle for his signature.

Calciomercato reported recently that Arsenal was the frontrunner to sign Hojlund, but this saga still appears to have plenty of room to develop.

The Daily Mail reports that to sign Hojlund, Chelsea invited Atalanta chairman Antonio Percassi to their Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund.

The Mail reports that the Blues could spend up to £60 million on Hojlund, who would be an excellent addition due to his lethal finishing ability.

It's reasonable to assume that Arsenal is currently the more attractive option than Chelsea, given that the Gunners will be playing in the Champions League next season at the Emirates Stadium and appear to be much further along in their project.
