This feature is so exciting to have on iOS. Recall extensions are seen on Google Chrome, Firefox, etc. desktop browsers. Now Apple has gone a step further to bring in extensions into smartphones, iPhones, I particular.

Extensions are software on browsers that enable you to customize website experience. Browsers have gone beyond merely internet navigators. With the addition of extensions to Safari, for example, you can now control or customize how websites load or behave on your iPhone 13 Mini and others.

For instance, extensions can allow you to integrate your appearance or behavior of “Amplosion” service from Apple on your phone, which redirects you to the main site and more. You can also use extensions to check for accuracy of grammar on websites that you load them, etc.

To enable extensions on your iPhone 13 Mini smartphone, go to “Settings.”

Once that opens, locate “Extensions” under the “General” option.

That means the intelligent tracker masks your IP address from digital information invaders. It ensures your mailing activity is protected from intruders by protecting your IP address.

Per-App Accessibility Feature:

With the new iOS 15 already available, you can customize each app to behave the way you want it.

Once that opens, down to select “Per-App Settings” under the “General” option.

Once that opens, you can click “Add App” to enable you to select the apps you want to customize.

You can add different customizations to different apps. For instance, if you are using an app with smaller texts, you can customize such an app from the “Per-App Settings” and make the fonts bigger as you wish. You can also contrast colors, reduce or invert colors.

Another interesting part of this feature is to help disable any app that has content that annoys you. For example, if an app has lots of videos or music and always plays them whenever you are using it, you can use the “Auto-Play Video Previews” to toggle that off.

FindMy iPhone Tracking:

iOS 15 features amazing updates. One of such is the FindMy iPhone tacking with the phone switched off. What the means is if your iPhone is missing and the thief turns off the phone, the new features will still track such phones.

Not only that, if the phone is factory-reset and erased, the new update will still track such a stolen iPhone. The new user interface chip for this update is available for iPhones 11 and above.

To see how this new feature works, hold and press the power button to off your phone.

You will see under “slide to power off,” “iPhone Findable After Power Off.”

Once you click on the option, a window will display informing you how the feature works.

Apple has also added a message to help you find your phone even after it is erased to ensure no one buys it afterward and that it is locatable. This makes iPhones less attractive to thieves.

Enhanced privacy with Siri:

With the new iOS 15, Siri is enhanced to uses on-device speech recognition technology. That means your Siri audio request does not leave your iPhone by default.

An in-depth analysis of enhanced Siri features comes up in chapter eight, solely dedicated to the intelligent assistant.

QR Code User Interface (UI):

The new QR code UI feature in the latest iOS 15 allows users to use their iPhone camera to see the information behind any QR code, especially the website associated with that QR code.

To view such information, place the QR code behind the camera.

Once the link displays, it will take you directly to the website such code represents.

Backup Over Cellular:

With the iOS 15, you can now backup to iCloud over cellular. In previous versions, this provision wasn’t there, but you can conveniently backup your data over a cellular network with the new OS.
